Gilberto nacio el 17 de Septiembre en Mazatlan Sinaloa, Mexico Fallecio en American Canyon el Sabado 1* de Agosto de 2020 Gilberto was born on September 17th, 1941 in Mazatlan Sinaloa, Mexico. Gilberto was a young 78 years when Our Lord called him to His side to find Eternal Peace. Jesus our Lord and Saviour called and said "Come Home son, Come Home!! My mom was there on the other side to guide him along, We know this because his last words spoken were, "Mom, where are we going where are you taking me?" An avid Golfer (when in better physical health) he sure Loved Golf. Learning the game early in his childhood as he caddied to earn some extra money to help out his family. Sure enough the game of golf was ingrained in his Soul. In the Napa Valley Valley he soon connected with MAGA (Mexican American Golf Association). He played in many Tournaments with Life Long Friends. Some who beat him again..this time to Heavens Door. He played with Timothy Reyes, Larry Reyes (Yountville's only Barber), Rafael Gonzales just to name a few. He played golf until his physical well being would not let him do what he loved. He was also an Avid reader in his younger years (books without pictures) imagine that... (coming from a young sister who is now an Avid Reader too.) He too loved to tinker in his gardens. Growing fresh Veggies to share with family members. He would often stop by to visit with his parents and taking them some of the fruits from his garden. And taking time to play Dominos with his dad and brothers alike. Gilberto came to the Napa Valley worked in the vineyards. He worked with "El Chino Garcia", then for Vinifera vineyards in Rutherford and for Mondavi Vineyards too. He also worked in the vineyards of Coachella Valley. In the Napa Valley he also met then married his Loving wife Irma Llamas Carrillo on August 25th, 1973. Just a few days shy of what would be their 47th Wedding Anniversary. He was predeceased by his parents Rafael C. Carrillo and Angelia A. Carrillo, his brother Ismael Carrillo along with another 5 young siblings. He is survived by his loving and caring wife Irma L. Carrillo his Six Children Gilberto Carrillo, Jr. (Sonia Davenport), Eduardo (Eddy) Carrillo, Angelia Carrillo, Irma Carrillo-Espinoza (Manny), Guadalupe Carrillo-Esparza (Nacho), His Loving grandchildren Christian Davenport Carrillo, Marcos Carrillo Esparza, Vanessa Carrillo Espinoza, Anabel Carrillo Cuevas, Amner Carrillo Espinoza, Crystal Carrillo Esparza. 5 sisters Delia, Betty, Grace/Chela (Anthony), Ceci, 5 brothers Isaias, Efrain, Saul, Joel n Gabriel. Lots of nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers in law.
