Carol Ann Kashiwagi 1940-2013 Our beloved mother, Carol Ann Kashiwagi, (nee Wilson), passed into the arms of the Lord on Thursday, June 27, 2013, after a courageous fight against cancer at 72 years of age. She died peacefully, surrounded by family. Carol was a sweet, passionate, caring and sometimes imperious woman who left an indelible impact on all who knew her. Carol was born in Napa on July 6, 1940. Raised in Santa Rosa, she returned to Napa in 1966 and has lived here since. She has been active in the St. Apollinaris Parish for many years. She is survived by her three loving children: son David (Kim Bard) Leavens, daughter Laurie Sibert and daughter Lynne (Beeny) Beenblossom; four grandchildren: Serena Beenblossom, Richard Harris, Sabrina (Ben) Bisconer and Nicholas Leavens; and two great-grandchildren Solstice Dehn and Cole Harris-Baldwin. She was predeceased by her husband of 32 years, James Kashiwagi. We are profoundly grateful for the support provided by her caregiver, Amanda Grice. Friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2013, at St. Apollinaris, 3700 Lassen St., Napa. A reception will follow in the church hall.
