Jude Edward Matysiak, born October 17, 1928 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin passed peacefully on September 24, 2015. Jude was pre-deceased by his wife, Geraldine Forest Matysiak of Napa. Jude served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1947 to 1950; and subsequently received his degree at Butler Creighton Naval College in 1954. Jude began his career in criminal justice with the Boys Town group in Nebraska and Hanna Boys Center in Sonoma. Jude retired from the Napa County Probation as a Senior Probation Officer in 1991.Being an avid gardener, Jude enjoyed many hours in the serenity of his beautiful yard. A devout Catholic and became a rock at St. Apollinaris Church. At Jude's request there will be no public service. In remembrance of Jude, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
