Judy Lynn Reilly
July 3, 1949 - August 30, 2014
Long time Napa resident Judy Lynn Reilly passed away peacefully Saturday August 30 at home surrounded by her family following a battle with cancer. Born in Oakland on July 3, 1949 to Clifford & Betty Mizen Enos, she moved to Napa at the age of ten and graduated from Napa High School in 1967. She worked as a dental assistant with Dr. Monroe Katz before beginning a more than thirty year career with the Napa County Health Department, retiring as vital statistics registrar in 2007. Although short in stature she was usually in control of most situations; rarely did anyone question her authority more than once. It is difficult to say whether she was happier shopping or cooking. She would get up at any hour and go to virtually any extent to find the right gift for friends and family; rarely was she more gratified than having just completed the shopping, preparation and clean up of a large meal that she prepared for others with her fellow members of the Native Daughters of the Golden West. She enjoyed collecting music boxes and was known to put an occasional nickel in a slot machine. Survivors include her husband of almost 34 years Richard, "Rick" Reilly, son Daniel Kildahl, daughter Julie Durden, niece Amanda Edmonson, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Joyce Russell, her brother Jack Enos and her mother, Betty Lou Enos. At her request there will be no services. Donations in her memory are suggested to either The American Cancer Society or to Napa Valley Hospice. Service: Napa, CA No services are planned.
