19442018 In loving memoryRichard Wade Wilson Mr. Wilson passed away Monday September 3, 2018 in Napa Valley, CA at Napa Post-Acute. He was 74 years old, born in Preston, Kentucky on March 13, 1944. He was a Veteran serving in the Navy, licensed mechanic for over 50 years and has resided in Calistoga, Clearlake and Napa Valley, CA for the past 55 years. He was united in marriage to Jeanette Herrod in 1965, giving birth to two surviving daughters Tina Wilson of Newberg, OR and Sharon Wilson of Portland, OR. He has four grandchildren, Anthony Bibolet of Los Angeles, CA, Calvin Wilson of Portland, OR, Alexis Diamond of Portland, OR, and Mariane Powell of Queen Creek, a beloved brother and four sisters-Jake Wilson of Napa, CA, Nancy McNeelan of Napa, CA, Christine Wilson of Petaluma, CA, Deanne Helgesen of Livermore, CA and Judy Stern of Las Vegas, NV. He has many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and many dear friends. He has reunited with his mother Betty Jean Wilson and his brother Phillip Wilson. He had a very strong passion for faith and reading the Bible daily. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing Elvis Presley songs, going fishing, camping and karate. His nick name was Great Fuji. Funeral services will be held Friday October 5, 2018 at 10:00 am at Treadway & Wigger Funeral Chapel 2383 Napa-Valley Highway, Napa, CA 94558, Graveside service will follow at 1:00pm at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, CA.
